It involves a mountain of invisible work: integrating payment systems, wrestling with accounting, and setting up a reliable order system that would ensure every package arrived safely and discreetly.

There were so many things that didn’t work right away. Buttons broke, layouts were ugly, and the backend was a mess. But slowly, painstakingly, the website started improving every time, inch by inch, day by day.

Curating the Dream Catalogue

A crucial part of the process was filling the shop with a true catalogue of items that reflect the spirit of Sissydreamland. This meant not just buying inventory, but selecting suppliers who shared our vision for quality and discretion across our diverse range. I spent weeks visiting trade fairs and making appointments, learning the ins and outs of retail to ensure we could offer the best, from delicate crossdressing articles to thrilling sexy toys.

Then, a wonderful thing happened. A good friend joined in and starts helping. Having a partner to share the load and brainstorm with was a game-changer. Together, we tackled one of the most Herculean tasks: putting the products online. Imagine the sheer dedication required to get 900 products put in the webshop, each with descriptions, photos, and variants. It was a massive amount of work, but seeing the catalogue grow was incredibly rewarding.
